All Sections Day

Deadline for applications is Friday – no late entries will be accepted.

 Wednesday 9th August 2017  –  Start time 1030hrs until 1630hrs

Dear Leaders,

As we have done at previous WS camps, held at Ardingly showground, we would like to extend an invitation to all uniformed members not attending the camp, to come and visit on Wednesday 9th August 2017. We want Rainbows, Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Guides, Scouts, members of The Senior Section and Explorers along with their Leaders to come and see what the camp is all about and make them want to attend the next WS.

Groups can arrive from 10:30am and stay until 4:30pm.  Cost will be £3 per member.  Uniform should be worn.  Packed lunch should be brought.

There will be activities to take part in from 11-1pm and our usual charity fair from 2pm with lots of stalls all costing just 20p per go to take part. All profits from this will go to the camp charity. Please encourage everyone to bring a bag of 20p’s to spend.  There will also be opportunities to visit the shops within Diagon Alley. It will be a fun day for your members to experience & see an International Scout & Guide Camp with the Harry Potter theme.

You do not need to be connected to a group who is camping to attend.

Space is limited, so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If possible please travel by coach or minibus, if not, then car sharing is recommended to ease the volume of traffic entering and leaving the site.

The deadline for applying to visit is 30th June 2017. No late entries will be accepted.

Please complete the All Sections Day Booking form which can be accessed via clicking the link or can be found on the booking form page to book your places and return by email to allsectionsday@ws2017.org.uk or post with full payment to WS2017 All Sections Day, 31 Priory Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9HD.

Ice creams can also be pre ordered on the form.

You are responsible for getting consent forms completed.  Check the website (www.ws2017.org.uk) for updates on what activities will be running and other information, including FAQs.  This is a large scale event, therefore pre obtained photo permissions don’t apply.

  • BACS to WS2017: Account No: 10108968 Sort Code: 77-63-18, please put ASDxxxxxxx (where xxxxxxx is your Guide or Scout membership number) in the reference field.  Payments must not be made from personal accounts.
  • Cheque made payable to WS2017 and sent with your booking form.
