We have been asked the question regarding Adult Camp Health forms. It is requested that adults complete the same form as participants that can be found on the website. This will assist the medical teams if they need treatment. It can be placed, if they wish, in a sealed envelope with their WS2017 sub camp & ID number on. You will only need to two copies (original +1)

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragic events in Manchester & London.
We would like to reassure all Leaders, Participants, Parents & Staff that as WS2017 Camp Chiefs we are reviewing the safety, security & emergency plans relating to WS2017 in light of recent events & the raised threat level. We are confident that there are no concerns relating to WS2017 as an event & all the original plans will still continue to ensure that WS2017 is a memorable event for all  members of Scouting & Guiding.

A RISK ASSESSMENT IS REQUIRED for EVERY camp gateway along with a basic sketch.
If the gateway has moving parts then this must be included in the initial design which is submitted to the sub camps along with a drawing/sketch
The initial sketch & risk assessment is to be with your Sub Camp Team by Saturday 15th July at the latest.
Then the initial risk assessment must be updated on completion, because things may change.
No risk assessment and sketch = no gate

Ardingly DOES NOT allow digging of holes for any reason.

Thank you for all those who turned up tonight at the WS2017 West Sussex Leaders meeting. Hope you found it useful.
Just wanted to clear up a miscommunication that we found out afterwards. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUILD BOX CARTS. This activity will be run differently this time & WS2017 WILL SUPPLY THEM FOR USE IN THIS ACTIVITY. This means that they DO NOT NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO CAMP.
